Phil Johnson

Phil Johnson joined the Shashi Group in August 2019 as Chief Administrative Officer. He leads our HR, legal, information technology, administrative, and corporate communications functions.

Phil joins us from Infogain Corporation, an IT Services company based out of Los Gatos. He helped Infogain as a start-up realize 50% growth year over year by driving successful programs and operations and eventually growing the company to over 6,500 employees. Phil has over 25 years of experience helping high tech companies establish innovative best practices in People Management. His expertise includes global operations, legal, public affairs, investor relations, staffing and corporate communications. He enjoys building company cultures that value people and their development. He has worked with start-ups, medium sized companies and headed up HR and public affairs for Tandem Computers with 12,500 employees worldwide. He has applied his strategic planning, forecasting modeling and global corporate oversight to expand the presence of every company he has worked for. 

Phil brings his forward thinking and decisive action to Shashi as we seek to be a leading innovator and leader in the hospitality industry. Phil’s exposure to the real estate world dates back to his tenure on the Cupertino Planning Commission and 9 years as a Council Member & Mayor of Cupertino.

Phil is a graduate of Pepperdine University and is married with 2 children. He currently lives in Saratoga and is an avid supporter of many community organizations.
